By creating an account on Avalon-Ro, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the in-game Server Rules. If you do not agree, please do not register.
Avalon-Ro is a free, privately-run Ragnarok Online server, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Gravity Co., Ltd. or Lee Myoungjin in any way. It is operated as a hobby project for the community, at no cost to play.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens on your account. One person may not use another player's account without their permission. Sharing your password with anyone is done at your own risk — staff will never ask for it.
Playing here means following the Server Rules, which cover things like fair play, respectful behavior toward other players, and what is and isn't allowed in trading, PvP, and the use of bugs or exploits. Rules may be updated over time as the server grows — check back occasionally.
Staff may warn, mute, jail, kick, or ban accounts that break the rules or otherwise disrupt the community, at their discretion. Ban decisions and their duration are final unless a staff member chooses to review them; there is no automatic right of appeal, though you're welcome to reach out on the forum if you believe a mistake was made.
Donations are optional and help cover the cost of running the server. They are not payments for a service or product, and are non-refundable. Any donation perks described on the Purchase page may change or be discontinued at any time, and staff reserve the right to revoke perks obtained through abuse of the donation system.
The server is provided "as is," without guarantee of uptime, performance, or that game data (characters, items, zeny) will never be lost. Every reasonable effort is made to keep backups and keep things running, but as a small, privately-hosted project we can't promise perfection. Play with that in mind.
These Terms and the Server Rules may be updated from time to time. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
