This quest gives no item at all - it is a paid guide to the headgear crafting network. The payment is one time: once the variable tourguide is set to 1 the hints stay available forever and the NPC never asks for materials again. The items and the Zeny are checked before anything is removed, so an incomplete attempt costs nothing.
