- Jeremy in Geffen has a friend who is pretty good at making headgears, but he has not seen him for a while - the last place he saw him was the Glast Heim sewers. Derek is indeed still down there, panicking about why he ever came down.
Walkthrough
Stage 1 — Jeremy
Location: geffen 128,118
Talk to Jeremy and answer "Not much, looking around." He tells you about his hat-making friend who was last seen in the Glast Heim sewers.
Stage 2 — Derek
Location: gl_sew04 85,241
Find Derek in the sewers and pick "Hey, Jeremy said you make hats.", then choose "Sting Hat!". He says he first needs you to do a few things for his friend Katrina in Yuno.
Stage 3 — Katrina (the NPC is labelled "Female")
Location: yuno 296,197
Talk to Katrina and answer "Good. Hey, Derek sent me.", then "Sure, what do you need?". Her leg is injured, so she asks for 30 Anodyne to help her get around.
Stage 4 — Katrina (the NPC is labelled "Female")
Location: yuno 296,197
Come back with the Anodyne and answer "Yep! Here they are!". She takes them and then asks for herbs to make painkillers with her grandmother's method.

Stage 5 — Katrina (the NPC is labelled "Female")

Return with the herbs. She takes them, thanks you and tells you to say hello to Jeremy.

Stage 6 — Derek
Location: gl_sew04 85,241
Go back to Derek and answer "Yep! She was very thankful." This time he believes you and reads out the material list for the hat.
Stage 7 — Derek

Return with all the crafting materials and answer "Yep, here's the stuff!". Derek fumbles around for a while and hands you the finished hat.

Notes
Derek will not accept your word until Katrina's part is genuinely finished - at any earlier point he answers "Sorry, but I don't belive you" and sends you back to Yuno. The whole line runs on the single pcsh_progress variable, which is shared with the Purple Cowboy Hat quest offered by the same NPC, so only one of the two can be in progress at a time. After the hat is given the variable is set back to 1, which means the quest is repeatable and you can immediately start again (or start the cowboy line) straight from Derek. Wrong dialogue choices are harmless - they just end the conversation with nothing lost. No class or level requirement.
